Asia 3

In 2008 we decided to visit Asia again. Ostensibly to visit Lili's mum, who had moved to Vietnam in order to teach there, but more accurately because the travel bug starts to bite tenaciously after two years of hanging out in Australia.

The trip spanned 3 countries. We flew Singapore Air and so had a stopover in Singapore. We took advantage of this to visit Malaysia again too, a country we had only very briefly visited previously. New Years "celebrations" were in Vietnam and we spent a week in the south of the country just chillaxing.

Malaysia turned out to be the greatest surprise of the trip, being the friendliest and tastiest country ever. This is where my kaya addiction truely started.

Our return journey saw us staying the last 4 nights in total luxury in Singapore.
